The DFS Cavity Heater is a heating system for temperature control of the cavity of a blade shell mould. The control system functions include heating, air flow, hydraulic positioning of the root cover and alarms/indications
The DFS Composites Mould Hinge & Clamping System is a hydraulic machine used for opening, closing, and clamping large moulds such as those used for wind turbine rotor blade shell moulding and assembly. Such moulds are typically split into an upper and lower half-mould, the lower part being static, and the upper part actuated for opening/closing the mould.
The DFS non-destructive testing blade scanner is used to detect faults in the wind turbine blade spar cap area. Using phased array ultrasonic testing, the quality of bonding between spar cap and web can be validated. C-scan is used to validate the integrity of the spar cap as well as the quality and width of the bond, while an A-scan is used to measure the bonds thickness.
The DFS SW (shear web) floor station is based on pneumatic system. This system used for LE & TE shear web assembly. One type of mechanical system where pneumatic (air-powered) components are used for controlling the assembly or operation of a shear web assembly.
This device used for de-mould and lift blade from Root side of mould. Tool is mounted and attached with Root side front face of the blade.
The DFS Tip De-moulding system is Vacuum Lifting Device. This Vacuum lifting device is used to De-mould blade from mould and to transport it to its storage location within the premises.
