The DFS Cavity Heater is a heating system for controlling the cavity temperature of a sheet shell mold. The control system functions include heating, airflow, hydraulic root cap positioning, and alarms/indications. The DFS Cavity Heater consists of a control panel with a PLC and HMI,
2 heaters, three temperature sensors, a blower, and a hydraulic cap positioning system.
