Shear Web Positioning System

The DFS Shear Web Positioning System is designed to accurately position a Shear Web into a Blade Mould

Shear Web Positioning Gantry

Shear Web Positioning Gantry utilizes actuated arms with vacuum pads as well as clamps to securely pick up and place a single / a set of shear webs from a shear web floor station to a blade production mould.

Shear Web Alignment Jacks

The Shear Web Alignment Jacks use a cup and cone design to align the Shear Web Gantry to the static half of the mould.

The Shear Web Alignment Jacks serve both translation of the webs down onto the bonding glue, as well as clamping the webs during the curing of the bonding glue.
